    Hi all from a long past retired triumph owner, I have a '68 Bonnie at the moment which is giving me some headaches at the moment. Interests is family, biking of course, home improvements.
    Hope to be able to contribute to the forum, maybe asking for help on my Bonnie soon. lol.

    Problem is it's running badly, starts but won't idle or rev evenly, revs hight then dies, backfiring through exhaust. Have fitted full service kit to carbs, no improvement. It has electronic ignition, new batter, decent compression and spark. Thinking about taking the head off and have a look before anything else. Seems like carb problem but don't want to replace them yet.
    What to do,,, what to do...
