My recently expired warranty didn't last quite long enough before the fuel warning light decided to pack up on my 2015 SE Bonne.
I can suss mileage/fuel but is there an obvious fault with these indicators?...I reckon it was on a timer......week after warranty expired etc...grrrrrrr

Have a word with (aka throwing yourself on the mercy of) your dealer to see if they are prepared to help you out in this instance, as a week out of warranty is too close for them to argue over assuming that they want to keep your custom. Could be a duff bulb or a wire dropped off so could just be summat and nowt!
    Worth a try anyway.

It's not a major thing, more annoyance thanks anyway

Looking at the parts diagram the wiring for the low level sensor ( PFKL1211358 Desc FUEL SENSOR LOW LEVEL WARNING Price £ 137.08 ) is in the same plug as the fuel pump power supply, so I suspect your fault is either the sensor, or hopefully the bulb ( PFKL1184230 Desc BULB. INSTRUMENTS. T6.5. 1.7W Price £ 4.23 ) which should be a fairly easy replacement job.

Price of the sensor is possibly why the Dealer is reluctant to look into the issue .......... But its still Appalling customer service !

Thanks for that, fingers crossed its the bulb...I fear customer after service is a lost trait...I think I'll pop in again just to remind them I was once a valued statistic....hmmmmm

If the bike came from that dealership and is only one week out of warranty, I would be pushing very hard for the fault to be corrected F.O.C.
I appreciate that technically the warranty has expired but hey come on!
Contact Triumph customer services with an officicial customer complaint if you get no joy
I know it's a pain but Triumph should be working hard to build and maintain their reputation, it might be that it is just this particular dealership that is playing mean.

Does the bike go through a check sequence lighting all the warning lamps etc when you switch it on, if it does and the low fuel warning lamp doesn't light up isn't that your problem?

Remain positive on the 'I want this fixing'
If not, official customer complaint to Head Office.

Yes, there is a check sequence with these bikes when switched on. Both needles "sweep" the gauges and all warning lights are illuminated.

If you're missing just the low fuel warning light then it could just be the illumination to that - but the dealer should stop being mean and fix it!

The absolute least your dealership could do is to check/change the bulb for you.
Quality accreditation audits monitor customer complaints and corrective actions.
Genuine companies use complaints and audits to improve customer satisfaction.

My bike is stored elsewhere so just checked....when switching on all lights including fuel illuminate, so guess it's not the bulb?
Heading to the dealership on Saturday to have a chat..

More impressive is how you stopped instantly like that. 130 and you can stop instantly.
We should all get on our knees. We are not worthy to be in your presence ;)
