Decent hotel next to it if your staying in the area, whitewater hotel, stay there when I'm down there on work
Went out a run yesterday, stopped into the new Triumph garage at Hillington to do my nosey, got a decent wee cafe with balcony, onwards to greenock, followed the coast all the way round till I ended up at Prestwick airport, doubled back and took the back roads from Kilmarnock to Larkhall, onwards up to Carluke, stopped for a wee breather and stretch the legs/fill the tank and thought to myself "hmm something is different here..." 10 points for the first to spot it
Good idea for the workshop dilligaf, I like that. Just break into your beer stash if you start getting stressed, don't forget to record that on your whiteboard as well.
Lucky it was only the plate mate! Couple of years back when the wife had her Daytona...... "What's that banging against my leg?" The whole plate hanger had broken free dangling on it's cable! (very lucky it didn't go in the wheel ) No bolts undone, the mount had fractured across the bolt holes both sides. Bought a replacement from newer bike off eBay and noticed there was now more metal around the holes, so I'm guessing it's not an isolated case and Triumph have modified it. So Daytona owners beware! (or fit a lighter tail tidy?)
Did it fall off or was it nicked? I guess if you start getting kindly worded invitations through the post to send money and your licence off for points you'll find out? If it has been nicked, waiting until the letters, or worse, plod to come round to feel your collar for driving off without paying for petrol, or worse, you standing there going "No, no, it wasn't me honest" isn't going to work. You should report it to plod straight away to cover yourself.
Haha weight saving exercise ofcourse But couple of good shouts there, think I'll get a look at the bolts, do you know what years the one that gave up and the doner were? And best report it too, cant be dealing with more surprise points, I still havent got my prizes from the last batch
Hi all, Yesterday I fettled my side stand to allow fitment of this. Whaddaya think? I normally carry a puck under the seat for when the ground is a bit iffy, but this seemed like a decent permanent solution. Let's hope there is no fouling whilst riding. Seems ok at a standstill. Atb Bob
Just chillin out for the rest of the summer, broken heel bone (not bike related) means out for 4 months as no weight bearing, will be making do watching TT coverage on the box.

When I first looked at this pic, I thought it was your layout for a new paintjob... Got it sorted now: electrictrick...
Out in the woods again... We have a hard spell of early summer right now: 35 degrees and rumors about the first major beer shortage of this year!
