    Hi Guys.
Just been out and cleaned ,checked bike over . On raising bike on my stand I can see what appears to be a bolt missing on the main stand left side directly below left foot peg. TBH I've not noticed this before can any one suggest this is the norm or infact there is a bolt missing. I've shone torch inside hole and cannot see a thread thread checked righ hand side and you can see that a bolt is present so I'm assuming it locates from the right side with a internal thread on the left side

Hi Lewie, does the stand have a single tube between the two side's of the frame mtg point's ? If so there Is Only One Bolt ! My after market centre stand on my America doesn't, it has two short bolts to mount it.

    Cheers capt.

    Hi Guys.
Just checked again there is a single tube on main stand also there is a washer and split pin on right hand side. But if you look at my photo there is nothing on left side. From the left side I can put a screw driver into hole for about 8 " this is making me think the bolt is hollow and is actually in place. The bike is currently on main stand and seems to be causing no problems. I'm going to drop it off and see if main stand drops on left side this indicating that I fact a bolt may be missing. Bloody hell I wish I hadn't noticed it . Thanks for replys

As you say, it's a hollow tube that pushes through from that side and is retained by circlip on the other side. Simple engineering. No nuts or bolts involved
