Those were the days Steve. On my last visit as we were about to enter York, Eric (Tigcraft) was behind me as I overtook a line of cars - "Saucy" was not quite the words he used !!!!!
Just thought I'd report back now that I've had a decent ride on the new seat. As the sun was out this morning I've been out and done a 150 miles. I bought the seat for the extra padding and comfort the single seat is supposed to offer after spending four hours in the saddle a couple of weeks ago. After a couple of hours I was getting more and more uncomfortable and the seat was starting to feel like a solid plank and my arse was getting numb. Something that never happened on my BMW, you could ride that all day. The new seat is definitely more comfortable, it's got a lot more bounce in the foam. Admittedly I haven't done another four hour stretch but it does feel loads better. What is more surprising is how the change of seat has changed the whole riding dynamic for me. It's very subtle and at first doesn't feel that much different, just a little softer on the arse. However, the extra thickness of foam has subtly changed the riding position for the better. The bike now feels as if it was tailored for me, difficult to put into words but definitely better, it feels like it fits now.

First time out with the cocktail shakers Love the sound but bloody hell their LOUD!!! Met up with Scoot and his Mrs and we went to the Hartside cafe for a brew and a bite to eat Gotta get some new tyres I have never known a bike squirm around so much under me feet off the pegs at one point Loving this bike though It's such a rewarding challenge
Though I would give the Explorer an outing with its new panniers before using them in anger when I go to the Isle of Man at the end of the month.
I guess, I'd need a gun license for those 'shakers' in Germany... Tis bike really looks hot! Right out of Mad Max Are you bringing her to the meet???
