My dealer never question my booking my bike in five months after I bought it? Have to say I've not had any problems, so haven't tested whether it would be a problem though.

I did actually have a glance through the warrenty book I had, and was surprised by the 500 mile/ 1 month stipulation, escpecially as these days alot of bikes sold is to fair weather riders which don't cover huge miles, triumph obviously have to acknowledge this and also if honest by the very fact them sell the triple with tyres heavly biased towards dry use. it was interesting riding about in Jan/feb on pirelli diablo supercorsa's not my first choice for a wet/cold weather tyre............good job they don't last long :)

It would be interesting if any forum members have been caught out with this rule? My guess would be that Triumph would not enforce this unless many months spanning a coupls of season has passed, as they would likely get a massive backlash from owners. I know I would be well p@ssed if my brand new bike had needed some warranty work and I had not met that ruling:mad::mad:.

Mine was free on my Tiger 800, and no time limit imposed either.
