Just thought i would bring it back too Triumph's I did a local charity ride i n aid of Stephen Sutton Teenage Cancer around 275 bike's doing a 30 mile marshaled ride
Steve, in the 2nd pic from above: could you pls tell me: what on earth is that big silvery bubble thing on the right hand side of the fuel tank, just in front of the Triumph emblem???
Took me a minute to work that out -because it looks as if it blends into the badge! It us in fact an open face helmet hanging from the bars!
Yeah, it seems to melt into the badge... Thanks! (I thought it was a terminator, getting ready for the kill... )
Had a double spin today. Took the LT out whilst I ran a number of errands locally. When I got home rolled the street twin out and set off for a ride, ride. Got as far as the A49 and Oulton Park where there was a car track day on. Had a cuppa and a bacon butty (£6.50 to boot) and spent an hour watching the cars in the rain. My job for tomorrow is to clean both bikes .... Wessa
Me & the Mrs took a run up by Braemar to Alford then back down by the cairn o'mount stopped off at the cafe at the bottom beside the clatterin bridge for some home made baking View point on the cairn o'mount Cafe at the bottom beside clatterin bridge.. big cakes
What a bloody day I've had Project trailer has took a turn for the worse First the trailer kit arrived at work woo hoo Like a kid at Christmas I ripped open the box....all there so started a dry run assembly of the parts.....all going well until I came to put the wheels on and double ...bloody wrong wheels argh!!!! Got in touch with seller and right size wheels coming tomorrow Ok so I'll crack on best I can BUT!! when I offered the axle units onto the roof box.... well they just don't fit the way I was hoping.....it's far too wide with wheels at the side and far too high with wheels underneath this box is not going to be my trailer But hey it's not all bad news my cocktail shaker exhausts come tomorrow from my wife for my birthday And on Saturday a brand new box is coming from my mam again for my birthday this one is narrower so the wheels can be mounted on the sides with the wheel arches and still be narrower than 1mtr Now if I get a bottle of jacks off my son for my birthday and something nice from Dozersdad (not the same as last year even if it's a different colour) well this could turn out to be a reet canny birthday
There's somebody looking down telling yer that the trailer is not a good idea. Cease your drinking and repent before it's too late!

This morning I have fitted the new seat seat to the Bonnie, well new to me. I bought it off fleabay and it arrived first thing this morning. All I need to do now is sort out the correct paint codes for the bike and spray the black to match. When painted I think a Triumph decal on the back would be order. I have two questions; Where are the paint codes located? Should I paint it green or cream? All opinions welcome. It's funny how you notice things in a picture you overlook in real life. Those marks on the floor are the residue from the winter coating of FS365.
