    That's it done :)
All fabrication complete except 4 holes to drill when I offer it up to my speedmaster
Then cut and round off the mounting points to get the desired length and height
Might paint it day glow orange or something so I'm not tempted to leave it on the bike ;)
    Next is the trailer!
Anyone got a cheap car roof box I can have?
My budget is 0 but might raid my tyre money for the right box

Is that the road that becomes Mortimer or Montgomery Rd at the other end where it links up to the A628, dead smooth, narrow, twisty, up hills, down hills, over bridges, through forests, in short, an absolute peach of a road ?

Yes, Mortimer Road. It used to be feckin awful before it was resurfaced for the TDY, you were bounced out of the seat at 40 mph even on the longer straight bits. Now you can, ahem, make a bit more progress.

From the side of the road you can just make out the house from Monarch of the glen, there is a lay by so you can clamber down to the shore to get a better view

As you can see I've finished the fitting of my tow bar :)
Made it so that I can fit sissy bar and pillion seat if needed
Now I have to take it back off for painting :(
The more observant of you will notice I've cut the mud guard and made my own number plate mounting out of a piston and con rod with prison bar rear light and indicators
I'm well chuffed with the outcome :) think it looks cool  and more of the badass look I'm going for ☠️

Awesome photos, great roads and scenery, I have an annual trip to Blair Atholl and it is that scenery and those roads that ensure I keep coming back.

No, half my family is from Aberceen so I visit there regularly, my wife and I enjoy hill walking and we stumbled on Blair about 6 years ago after visiting other parts of the Cairngorms, loved the place and continued to go up there for the walking and scenery, easy to get to Fort William, Aviemore, Blair is my favourite place to visit for sure.

Have yet to go up there on the bike though, my wife doesn't do bikes!!

Know Loch Tummell pretty well, lots of nice walks. I must get up there on the bike to enjoy the roads.

032311middle1.jpg Having a ball. this bike (stock photo)

is superb, just when I hit the twisties and start wanting more aggressive gearing and drop bars, I realise Ive been out for 2hours and have no wrist or bum pain, then on to the main road and off we go .
I think a couple of times to I nearly came close to breaking the speed limit.:(
did a route through Huntly then Inverurie to Drumoak and on to Aboyne then Dinnet Huntly and home 3/4 a tank and 145 miles. on hairpins and corkscrews past pine woods and crofts. The weather was sunny when I left the house then smirry all day , couldnt keep the smirk off my face:D
