Took my young granson for his first pillion ride today, he loved it. I reakon I have a new travelling mate. Must admit I was a bit nervous at first, but he was a natural.

Fitted a tracker to the TT. After rumours of my stolen Triple being only 2 or so miles from home initially, see it as a better investment than an alarm.

Gave up with the police. No more rumours, gave it up and moved on. Paid out by MCE and now on the TT600.

Went out for a run with a few mates after watching the Moto GP, just remembered one of the reasons i much prefer riding during the week..saw 4 different pairs of traffic police:(..luckily there were loads of bikes out so they are good at warning you:)

We had a ride over to the Great central Railway at their Quorn and Woodhouse station, they were running a goods steam gala, great to watch.
Had to park the bike in a field, thankfully it has a centre stand!

Eventually got round to removing the Slab Rack had a bit of a tidy up in the garage then went for a quick spin
    Well about 100yds
Quick about turn to replace the seat bolt that I forgot to replace after giving scoot the slotted one  DOH! Then went for a ride
Then back in the garage to do some measurements for the tow bar I'm going to make
Got it pictured in my head
    Easy peasy lemon squeezy

I'm pleased you remembered the seat bolt...... I'd hate to think I was responsible for you parting company with the bike on the first corner. ........ I have visions of the bike going one way and you (whilst still sat on the seat going another way) lol :eek::eek:

Same here Dougie, If I could only ride my bike at weekends I'd sell it and give up.

I went the exact same route yesterday (Saturday) as I did last Tuesday.... what a difference !! was out much longer :(

I'll be sticking to midweek runs from now on, this place is getting so busy these days.

It was the Loch Earn A85 /Loch Tay A827 Circuit we did,All the police were on the A85, they really seem to be targeting that road:(
Once we turned off at Lix Toll to take the The Loch Tay A827 road, it was much quieter and for some reason you very rarely see the police:) We normally do this route as a night time run as it's only 100 miles or so and the traffic is much quieter then..It's difficult not to go out at the weekend though.. when the sun is shining

Good choice of route Dougie, I was up Deeside earlier in the week and they have been gravel patching from Banchory to Ballater, even seen a car of the road it was real bad on some corners.

Away to wash the flies off the bike now

    Hi Tez
The harness plug under your seat what type is it mate?
I'm planning to house mine behind my side panel and think a normal 7 pin plug will be a bit of a squeeze
    Cheers
