I never really had a problem with wind buffeting my head around, but the journey in this morning was at motorway speeds and I did conciously think...has it made any difference...I have to admit I didn't think it had made a difference and I noticed that I was looking down on the screen (I am 6ft) so any wind deflection wouldn't help unless I tucked right in which would make it rather cramped for me.
Regarding looks, it does make it look a lot more determined or assertive (I had to look in a thesaurus for an alternative to aggressive) I like the look and I will have to see over the next week if I get any mild neck ache like I used...

I'll second that Dougie.... I'm going out again tomorrow for another full shift on the bike, that's five times in just over a week and at 350+ mls each time (as the weathers been so good) the wallet takes a pounding doesn't it. I even managed to inadvertently put really expensive petrol in the tank when I didn't check the price first (£139.9 ltr) which doesn't help.

Anyway... I'm not complaining,it's Scotland we live in.... could be snowing next week, what is it they say about 'making hay'

Not complaining even though you live in Scotland.?! Really?

It's good to know not everyone is a nationalist.

[yes, sorry I know it belongs on another thread, but it had to be said]

    £139.99 ltr.
I know that should probably read £1.39 ltr But FFS, that is F***ing extortion.
Is it a garage somewhere in the back of beyond ? Places like that should be boycotted!
It's enough to make me think about towing a trailer and taking my own fuel with me.
Great to hear that you're getting some serious mileage on the bike though

Yes should've had another point between the 1 and 3

MOTO Services Southwaite (on the M6 North) Mick, I like to put the posh petrol in the tank now and again and I chose there to do it for some reason. My mistake for not checking first as these service stations do like a bit of 'mark up' with their prices don't they

Anyway it's 7am and I'm off to Oban for breakfast..... looks like another scorchio day ahead

Bedford to Wells Next The Sea with Oakley MC. Some fabulous roads and not a lot about.

A bit chilly and wet though, needed the fish and chip lunch at Wells.

Lovely 120 mile ride through the Yorkshire Dales to Castle Bolton and back.
Quietish dry roads, no sun in your eyes, perfect!
Bike handles superbly with the Hagon upgraded suspension.

Fitted some 20mm spacers to lift the bars a bit last week.
Took the Speed out today to try them out.
It's definitely more comfortable, but not sure about the riding position into turns, it feels a little odd after the previous set up. o_O
I'll do a few hundred miles on it before I do anything, if it's still the same, the I might compromise and try just a 10mm lift.
