Hi, I'm Steve, I am from Cincinnati OH. I own a 14 thunderbird with aftermarket remus exhaust. Just purchased bike last year from Triumph dealer. It has been in show room since 2014.
Welcome steve , hope your enjoying the Thunderbird , they are a great bike. Why it was in the showroom for so long I don't know
Howdy Steve, Tbird eh, had the 1959 version as my 2nd bike after my Triumph Tiger Cub, great name fer a bike the Tbird, and in those days, what a good sidecar bike. Fathers were still piling the family in double adult chairs, and/or using them for business. Passed a wedding whilst out on our bike last saturday (Ironically it was our weddin anniversary) my wife leaned forward and said that sidecar outfit being used for the photo shoot outshone the wedding itself) that's my girl. Bought her some fish pieces for lunch...what am I on about..put a pic up Steve when yer get a minute
Welcome to the forum Steve I believe Marlon Brando had a Thunderbird in the 'Wild One' How different the Tbird looks now, enjoy it and keep safe.
Hi Steve and welcome in to the forum. Nice bike the Tbird - is yours 16 or 1700cc? How far are you from the The Great Lakes, Toledo for example? I would love to ride around them !!!!
Thanks so much for that warm welcome! Here some pics, as for 2014 bike still in showroom as of last year, there are still some 14 and 15s left in showrooms in my area. I guess when you live in a country where HD are very common, know one wants to go with other brands. Also this engine size is a 1700.
Hello Steve! You might be right there... If it was not for the parallel-twin, it looks a lot like the Road King, I sold. (Just a tiny pic since this is blasphemy on here ) I'd like to ask you: Are the T-Birds better priced than the Road Kings, or are they on the same level in the U.S.? Cheers, Daniel
Stevie great looking bike, mine is the black and white version. I love it and I'm sure you will to! I just noticed that you have posted your home address in your location; you might want to consider removing this as it clearly tells the less honest people out there where your pride and joy lives! Just a thought. Wessa
The prices of HD Road king is about 500.00 USD more than TB. But the TB has more chrome and comes with pasengers back rest. the new HDRK is a hard case bagger, (that is one option I would want on TB) but the TB dose come with chrome wire wheels, which I see now HD dose not offer, also thanks on info for address. I did edit.
