Sounds like it's got everything I need, bikes, beer and some grub.............................oh yeh! and plenty of bo****s talked Don't worry, you're not the only one with a bike with the same weight as an aircraft carrier
Within reason we can fetch stuff in the car. The little smoker BBQ is no problem but if there's going to be a few suggest some disposable ones might be worth getting as well
We take what we can get nowadays. Any virgins in our vinicity would run a mile the second they saw us. Let's face it a bunch of over the hill bikers you would either run or pee yourself laughing
Regards the BBQ. As there'll be quite a few of us the best bet is to cook the food inside and then just char it a bit on a disposable bbq. We can do burgers and sausage if you like and maybe chicken drumsticks. Flavoured pork ribs or chops would be nice too. Salad ?
Pork ribs sounds good. Love those BBQed. Might just have to buy one for the house. Yet another thing to buy for starting up a new house. Considering our weather even in summer you are bound to be right about cooking indoors then Charing them a bit outside. As to salad optional I think
Great pastime! But my friend is the flyfisher; he introduced me to it with lots of patience. (and it is another great hobby to bury all your money in But next to sailing and paragliding, it is one if the things, I could see in my future...)
Wee practice run (200 miles) around the Saturday route. All well. Didn't stop in Bellingham, saving that treat for July.
Went out last Sunday with our club. 35-odd bikes of varying experience, using the drop-off system. All went well. No-one got lost and we all made it back within 15 minutes or so of the lead rider.
Ridden by an 82 year old gentleman, was only 2 minutes behind me after 15 miles of making progress.!!!! Total legend. His previous bike was a Fireblade
