    Fargo rules

A friend of mine gave me the DVD of the man who went up a hill and came down a mountain.
    A classic.

Have you seen the Fargo TV series? Series 1 was excellent, series 2 didn't grab me tho. Billy bob Thornton did one of the finest acting I ever saw. Pastor to psycho in 0.5 second!! Brilliant.

Never seen Fargo - have added it to my must watch list.

I love watching films, but there's a few gapping holes in my viewing history, which I'm slowly working my way through. I've recently watched:

The Godfather I & II - Enjoyable, but I don't hold it in as high regard as most (don't all shoot me! :))
Trainspotting - Thought it was excellent
The Raid - One of the best action films I've ever seen

Yes, I saw the TV series, and I agree with you: the first one was excellent, the second season was good and entertaining, but definitely inferior to No.1

Another movie I recently enjoyed was The Accountant, featuring Ben Affleck. Good action and different kind of plot.

Watched serpico the other day for nostalgia's sake. Good but dated, as it would be I suppose.

What about "Wild Hogs" ? Funny as f**k and strangely touching. A thoroughly good film for a 'certain age' group.

Sausage Party. The funniest film ever in the history of funny films.

That just seemed to be a watered-down Harry Potter-esque thing. :(

Watched razorback ridge, based on true WWII events , where a conscientious objector signed up and went to war in the Pacific as a medic. Slow starter but gets there in the end, he saves 75 lives goes into battle unarmed ! He was awarded the silver star ! Only conscientious objector to serve and win America's highest bravery award.

Thanks to the wonder of the internet, I've actually never seen DDD, but I doubt it's anything like this (possibly NWS)

The Accountant, was OK, if on, watch it, but don't make an effort to see it.

Sightseers, watching it for a second time on film 4. So funny, love a dark comedy. Worth watching just to see the knitted crotchless knickers! :D

Watched "Cowboys and Aliens" (2014) last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford plus a cast of thousands.

Rogue 1 is my latest. A bit different from the usual Star Wars film. Still entertaining but odd not have the Jedi romping about all over the place.
