I had the suspension setup on my speed triple R. What a difference it has made.

Did you set it up yourself of go to a 'specialist' ?
I presume it was adjustment to the preload, rebound and compression. Or did they go the whole hog and change the spring rates to best suit you?

Been out for a nice ride today about 250 kms, to the Bourges Triumph dealer to try the new est T100 and T120.

T100 - PANTS! Sorry but that what I think.

T120 - completely irresistible. Loved it, want it !!!!

It was really just a generic comment Dougie, not literal. I don't think I get either F
I am very tempted to be honest Andy. I just couldn't believe the amount of grunt with the T120 it was nearly wrenching my arms out !!! And when you slip 'er into 6th she does about 110kph at 2500rpm !!!

It's not mate, Moto Gp is still loads better. Battling from start to finish, right up to the very last bend.

I went to a specialist. They did everything based on my weight. I wouldn't have had a clue where to start to be honest. There were 5 of us in the group and we all came away feeling happier with our bikes.

Ride up to Hartside Cafe with a pal of mine, kept up with her on the climb up, and she's no slouch. Lost a fair bit of metal from my pegs!!!! :D love these tyre's. :)

Took my 70's Bonnie barrels to an Engineering firm to have my exhaust tappet block pressed out and a different one with oilways pressed in. Didn't want to risk bashing it out myself. "Not sure we can do that, what if we crack the cast iron getting the steel block out" Is it me? The sign says ENGINEERING firm..I thought they had Engineers and presses and oil and heat and skilled men and and and..o_O then I went to doctors, and they couldn't help me either, even tho They rang me to go in 2 hrs before. Am I an alien on a different planet?

Oh dear mate, sounds like it wasn't your day :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I had to go out to buy a new bath tap today - 100 kms of twisty roads later I was back with the tap and it's installed. All is good !!!!

Must admit RR, I would be a bit reluctant to do that myself on someone's precious 70s barrels.
For what you would be willing to pay and the risk involved it was probably not worth it to them.
More of a job for a bike enthusiast and buy him a couple of pints.
Can't reply on the Doctors issue, hope it's nowt serious.

    I hope so :D
The low boy loses about 7.5kg, loses the cat and adds a few hp, so that'll help.
Only rode it straight home today, but it'll get a fair few more miles put on it over this weekend :)

Can't remember who mentioned to watch out for the brakes but I see what they mean now, they obviously need a bit of bedding in

Off to the Departure lounge tomorrow morning for a breakfast run....
