Thruxton Fuel tank loom recall and ecu

Finally put the bike back on the road today. Recall done and latest ecu reflash at team Roberts, great service as ever.
I asked about the ecu flash as mine has the open V+H pipes. You just get the latest triumph map, nothing specific for those pipes. On the way there it was quite loud on the over run, loads of popping and banging. On the way home it's a much smoother ride, less popping and very nice, a definite improvement on the original map I think. Less snatching and just picks up nicely.
The bike finally sounds like it deserved to from day one! Roll on this summer

 

There's an updated triumph map that they normally check at a service to see if you have the latest version , that's all it was, but it's made it a better throttle by the feel of it.

 

Done 100+ miles today and it's smooth as silk and very throaty with the v+H open cans. I took the snorkel out too, not much difference but the bike pulls well now it's run in
