    Cool mate...

I did electric off road then nitro on road, on road used to be saloon bodies then I tried the 'wedge' type and it was scary how quick they cornered !

I was racing for a team called Team PB who made their own car...

It wasnt the best to be honest and at one point I had my mates car for a race heat to give his new engine/chassis a run and won by a country mile....The following day my Dad got me a different car and I stopped racing for the team and got lot better results

Then I got to near 16 and wanted a bike so my Dad gave me the choice of an AR50 or carry on racing

    AR50 won :D

Was gonna get my kids involved but the local good tracks got ripped up (Ashby wolds, Tibshelf)

Nah, had a great bunch of kids, the only year we lost was my fault, I changed the plug for the last race, then it wouldn't start - couldn't be the brand new plug could it ??/ It bloody was

We also had a 'Silverstone' Rule (where the race was held), any language I used in Silverstone, stayed in Silverstone !!! In the heat of battle, I couldn't promise to keep it clean :D:D:D

I think the final is on BBC2 this Sunday evening.
I've been watching it through the series, they get bigger, better and more destructive every year!

Wow what a talented bunch of folks.
For me I have tried my hand at a few different hobbies including, wood turning & woodworking, home PC, digital photography, reading and for the last few years grandchildren. But my only real passion is my bikes, don't mind what the weather throws at me I just enjoy the ride.

What with work and plenty of jobs still to do round the newish (2 years) house, and as a newly wed, I don't have as much spare time as I'd like. Aside from occasionally riding my bikes, I play Sunday League football, although I've moved from centre mid to right back - getting too old for all that running! Also love a bit of golf, so the less footie I play the more time I'll have for golf!

It's coming, that's for sure, if I have to kick any more 18 year olds because they're too quick for me, I'm gonna start wearing through my boots far too fast!

My biggest single hobby was sports photography. Horse driving competitions 3-day events that sort of thing.

Started off as a way of supporting my wife in her carriage driving events, then turned into a nice little earner. Extended into portraits of horses and dogs.

Raced a Fireball dinghy for while - nothing quite like 3-sail reaching !!!!!:D:D:D

Jesus! No he's not my hobby, I just realised the only hobby I had was photography and I haven't picked up my camera for months!! I can't consider going to the gym as one as I'd then have to include going to the dentist and also having a vasectomy!

Consul table I made. Oak and science bench!, some sort of tropical hardwood, with 40 years worth of chewing gum planed off first. :D.
The little inset squares is my trademark ®

Consul just means a tall narrow table meant for a enterance or hallway.

All these animals belong to the tenants, or some might call them family. :D

A wee update on mine I'm finally getting my new radios tomorrow after UPS tried to deliver them to the wrong address.
Thankfully the person they tried to deliver them to was honest, otherwise I might have been out of pocket for a fairly large sum of money.
    Bloody UPS !

My dogs, sea angling, photography, a bit of gardening and since selling my Triumph, started up my fish keeping, bought a nearly new aquarium and set up last week end, we spend more time watching them than I do the t.v.!
