Try broader/bigger foot pegs, on my America I have foot boards SWMBO swears by them with back rest she is good for 200+ KLM legs, she says they allow her to balance/shift weight between butt and legs, and if gets a bit of numb bum she has all the confidence to stand up/stretch briefly !

    Hope that helps. Cheers capt.

Boards not necessary , broader pegs , more surface area , my wife complained of hot spots on soles of her feet ! So she would lift the load/weight off her feet ergo more weight on her butt ! If you share the load you halve the work ???

Was going to spool down the last 100 kilometers before the first inspection...
After 2 minutes, orange engine management warning light came on together with red water coolant light.
Called dealer, he said drop by (6 pm) and they diagnosed a faulty sensor in the coolant system.

Except for the recalls, I have been saved any trouble so far. Hope this is not the start.

Well they send me off to do my 100 klicks, said no prob...
And I had a great time. This bike rides so well. It feels so good puttering along and then releasing the 80 horses, if needed...

Re-united Bonne with battery after 4 months, started immediately, went for a quick ride out, so glad to be back.
    Roll on the weekend!

Been out all day with couple of mates, one of them came up from Melton Mowbray and wanted to do some of the Peak district roads so I did a repeat of a ride out I did a couple of weeks ago.

Up into the Peaks through Baslow, Curbar, Grindleford Hathersage and round Ladybower Res. Then over the snake pass to Glossop then back down the A6 to Buxton, Bakewell and home.

A round trip of 105miles according to the route planner, a bit further with a few detours.

Fitted a Stebel Nautilus air horn today to the tiger 800 after my original horn began to sound like a chicken having a vasectomy...Don't ask me how I know that...I just do ok:eek: Got the horn :p I mean bought the horn on eBay for £17 & it's unused & in its original box.
Tigers may be a fair size bike but there's nowhere to put air horns. In the end I cable tied it to my R&G aero crash protectors.
Wiring was straight forward too using a 4 terminal relay & it worked perfectly.
For a change all went smoothly & if that noise don't wake up dozy car drivers, then nowt will:D

Didn't know, the Nautilus had an air-horn...
Probably to scare away your average Inuit-Apnea-Diver. Capt. Haddock said, they can get you into trouble!

A few months ago me & a good mate went to a pub in Leigh on sea in Essex one Saturday night. He went on his k5 gsxr1000 & I went on my thruxton. We were there for about 2 hours, the bikes were along a wall & the fading Sun made em really look good together. A young lady probably about 25 kept looking at them & was trying to see who owned them. Now my mate does suit leathers well where as I look like michelin man on steroids. As we approached the bikes to go this lovely looking lady got up, come over to us & my mate being half my age looked & smiled at her, just as he was about to talk she said "lovely bikes" we both said thanks, she then said " who's is the Red triumph, I really like it"? My mate bless him was crest fallen.. all the way home through Bluetooth headsets (scala), I kept saying..." Get the triumph, get the girl". It was a really funny moment for us both.
