Took my Bonnie to the Triumph shop to check out the new Street Triple RS...
They 'talked' me into a test ride (did not need much talking) and here we go:

This semi-auto-shifter is brilliant!
What a gorgeous, crazy, fascinating, overwhelming, permanent-grin-inducing bike!!!

Got Doris mot'd today, passed with an advisory on the exhaust! So went for a wee blast up to newlands for a cuppa parked next to some class

Quick lunch stop at Loomies today with a different type of Triumph.

 

Right MOT sorted now. New tyres on ( Avon Cobra's ) definately feel a difference in the tyres.
Took a run over to Glasgow as light showers were forecast for late evening ( why do I ever believe weathermen )so met up with a mate for a few hours.
Heading home and the skies open and rain on my parade. At least I know the Avons hand well in the rain

 

First outing this year

 

Nice ride of 90 miles round trip to get my second set of replacement clocks due to misting up, 3rd time lucky I hope. Over 2,000 miles clocked and it is going like I thought it would, maybe because it really feels right now, starting to forget how the Tiger800 felt. Dealer has nice revamped showroom which makes the bikes look good, not like Honda car dealerships with too many cars flying around..Sorry bike dealership.

 

Figwold, Paul, Aleks and yours truly set out together from our Oakley MC club house, destination Billing Aquadrome All Seasons Cafe via country lanes, where we arrived 30 mins after closing time ffs. So back to chez figwold for coffee and talking bollox, by two routes cos Figwold and Paul fecked off ahead the wrong way (be warned GMU).

When a friend and I see a Porsche we always go "yaaaawn" (never mind like the infamous B:W bikes, they are technically perfect...)

But since you went for that cool green on your bike in the first place, may I suggest something an itsybitsy bit more 'British'!!!???

Well it wasn't today, but last Sunday I went on ' black dog' run, to support men's mental health depression and suicide, We had 174 Bike's of all makes and ranging in size from 230cc single road trailie's to 2.3 litre rockets. We had four Indians !! several victory's and even had a 1974 Laverda 3c !!! The day went really well and raised Five or Six thousand Dollars from registration fees alone ! Was a great way to meet new and old faces alike, made all proud to be a clan/family !
