Perfect thank you. Is it relatively straight forward to fit, a plug and play sort of deal? I only ask as the one I fitted to my previous bike resulted in me having to cut pieces off the rear fender just to get it to fit! I'd rather not go down that route this time ...
dead easy. what I did do was get some rubber trim to go round the edge of the plate in case there was any contact with the frame. course youll need indicators
Thanks. I'm going to start making a little list of the bits I want starting with this tail tidy. Indicators next. Also want to pick up a disk lock. I've only briefly tried to use the steering lock as I was working out which keys to where but it seems extremely fiddly and lightweight! I managed to get it to work once but then spent 10 minutes trying to get it to unlock again!! A quick google and a lot of people say it's trash and they don't use it?
I think people have discussed disc locks on here already. I can't find the thread but alarmed ones seem to be the way to go!
This is the one I got...came with front and rear indicators so everything you need... http://www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk/bo...ogen-bullet-indicators-blackamber-34211-p.asp
That's not bad! My Arizona indicators cost £70 for 4 and the tailtidy and lamp were £95 plus the front indicator wires were about £10 so it's a saving. Is the tail light led? I found the ordinary Lucas tail light I had before a bit flimsy how's yours?
Yeh it was all LED I think...this is the actual one I got... http://www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk/bo...cluding-retro-flatback-indicators-36455-p.asp Didn't find it flimsy at all thought it was all quite smart. Although when I changed the front inidcators for LEDs all hell broke loose!! Couldn't get them to work then the alarm starting going berserk!
Yesterday had the towel rail off the back and the fly screen off the front, looks loads better already.
It does yeah. I actually quite liked the way it looked with the fairing off the back exposing all of the seat too. But figured better covering it up to help protect it. Tail tidy and indicators next.
I like that fairing quite well! And it is a great idea to have a twoseater underneath. Just check once in a while for mould, depending on the humidity where you live...
I used to like these when I was thinking about thruccy's... http://wilderfactory.com/products/cafe-compartment-seat Bit pricey but thought it was a cool idea!
Oh don't start me hankering on those! I've wanted one for the last couple of years. Trouble is with the exchange rate now the price is to much! Thinking of getting one fabricated, I've got a spare Thrux seat.
There is no seat under the cowl so more room than you'd think. But maybe not Enough room for my sarnie
