Yeah I've got Carbtune too mate....Done it on all my past bikes

It's amazing how few people balance their carbs/throttle bodies but it can make so much difference

main jets pilot jets needle clips drill bits and lots of info and a back up service if it doesn't work, I can send you all the gunf I got with mine but I think your running mikuni carbs, mine are keihins you could probably buy all the stuff on ebay for about £30-£40 but for the extra £25 you'll get peace of mind and save a lot of hassle with experimentation etc. if you are running keihins let me know and I'll send all the gumph :)

Hi yep got Mikunis, have put all new jets, needles etc in and have larger main jets so will probably see how it goes, looking to get set up on rolling road when get it road worthy so hopefully they will be able to fine tune it. Think which ever jet kit you get would benefit from final setting up on RR

Oops found a bit of a daft mistake, still running rough under throttle even though had carbs of and checked everything, bear in mind i have stripped and replaced just about everything, i noticed that the carb mounting rubbers tilt the carbs up slightly causing the float bowl to be tilted from the horizontal, checked manual nothing to show which way should go. Turned them around and the float bowl sits horizontally !! dohh !!!

well was running okish then one carb started pouring fuel out beginning to lose the will at moment.

going to strip carbs again tomorrow check floats in some hot water see if any leaks then full build again if no joy after that may track down another set of carbs that are ok and put all the new jets and parts i have on them

Good to see you sorted it, The inlet rubbers are like that to stop carbs hitting the single spine frame, gives them a bit more space. Be interesting to see if that has sorted the running, Fingers crossed
