We seem to have infected the 'This made me laugh' thread with political discussion, so I have created this thread, I will put any stuff from there, into here, but I ain't trawling through to move stuff already in there - so Brexit, Independence, immigration, etc chuck it in here, Just to keep that thread clean and happy and if you come in here, you might get some heated debate, but by coming in, you agree, everyone has an equal opinion. Try and keep racism out, or I will delete, be it against any group.
Not sure you can class them as an ethnic minority !!!! As we are often told, they are THE best selling large capacity motorcycle, so therefore they are the majority and therefore cannot be racism'ed against ??? So simple answer is yes, keep taking the piss out of them, mainly because this is a Triumph forum and BMW ownership cannot be classed as a race of people, and anybody daft enough to choose this path in life deserves it, unlike if you were born wearing a BMW tw*t suit, then it would be rascism and therefore unacceptable.
I am actually hoping this thread just falls off the end and dies, just an attempt to clear the joke thread of politics. I won't be coming in here to get on my soapbox and tell you how you should think, just an attempt to keep joke clear of such stuff. I was thinking of using it as a dumping ground for any further political posts that appear. I miss Gloria's 5 stupid posts a day , seem to have gone away from that.
If politicians are "representatives" from around the country."The Member of Parliment Reprsenting ???????" then we no longer need them and they are a relic of past times and poor communications. All we need now is a discussion on TV on a Monday about up coming decisions. Then on Tuesday experts give opinions for. Wednesday, against. Thursday possible implications presented by permanent secretaries then Friday night the big vote with Simon Cowell. HOWS THAT! .
I would think the North East would want to secede from England and join an independent North Britain, cos there just as ignored as Scotland when it comes to spending ie - infrastructure. New Crossrail going anywhere near Newcastle ? Or are you just going to pay for it but never reap the benefits ? (£15,000,000,000 FYI) Ps, thought you didn't want this thread????

Had a wee sit down with the Scottish Minister for Transport Humza Yousaf today. Discussing speeding through our village. Trying to get a bypass built, but we are to get a set of traffic lights that change to red, if you are exceeding the speed limit. First set ever in Scotland, possibly UK. This is to stop HGV's going thru the village at a minimum of 34mph (They know they don't get prosecuted till doing 35). Cars and bikers manage to do 30 mph, mostly, HGV's can't . He's a biker, so I dropped in about being tailgated through the village whilst on my bike on Sunday. Just sold his Fazer, looking to buy a Tiger 1050, wonder if he'll join the forum !!!!
They do work Ron, there's quite a few of these type of traffic lights as you enter some villages in the Picos. Exceed the speed limit and they go to red.
Wholeheartedly agree with this. Get rid of all MP's and the House of Lords and ask the people to vote via their phones. That would allow for real democracy and save a fortune of money and vested interests.

I would agree with that speaking for myself, nowt to do with the brexit shite, all to do with as Ron says we are completely ignored, unless they need to trial some new system of government re-thinking to save money, then its a matter of we will launch it up north first cos 90% of them are unemployed anyway. (Just to make it clear I voted to come out of Europe, more for the reasons all our countries decisions where being decided in Brussels more so than the feckin idiots we pay millions to in Westminister and the inability to police our own borders.) Lets face it I think division is being laid at regions doorsteps anyway, Wales is making a better job at looking after its own residents, as is Scotland in my opinion, the rest of us stuck in the middle still get shafted every way, Well that's just my own opinion and my twopenneth, Agree or disagree dont think I've owt more to add to this thread, Other than we all deserve to have our say I THANK YOU !!!
