    Each to their own!
Nothing written on this forum has yet convinced me to use supermarket oil or petrol in my motors.
I liken it to cheap wines, beers and spirits, yes it will get me pissed but do I want to drink the shite stuff and poison myself ?

Go me i started a petrol war, maybe i should be in politics.
The results are finally in anyway:
I seem to be averaging between 45/47 mpg on mostly bp fuel (its on route) some sainsburys, no noticable difference between the two other than the staff are usually friendlier at sainsburys and they sell less shit on the counter.

I think the fuel light gives a warning at 90miles of riding and then flickers on and off before deciding to stay lit, somewhere soon after 100 miles, i've not pushed the reserve too far, about 13 miles max, that leaves some in the tank for sure.

I'm gonna try it on aldi gin next see if i can get some more beans out of it.

Always good to get different opinions then you can make a more informed choice.
Glad you are enjoying your bike.

I use Shell in my Speed Triple, it is my closest station and I use the app on my phone to pay by Paypal meaning I don't have to queue up for 15 mins and be tempted by chocolates or gadgets in the shop
When I top up every 2nd day (at exactly 123.4 miles on the trip) I use premium. Standard would cost me £17 to £19, premium would cost me about £18 to £20 depending on traffic.
I definitly get better mileage on premium as my fuel light comes on at 110 to 115 miles on standard, on premium it doesn't come on at all when I fill up at 123.4 miles
Regarding performance, on premium the throttle response is noticably sharper with a crisper exhaust note on the overrun
Still cosing me 15 pence a mile and I know there are better MPG machines out there, but as for grins per mile, the Speed Triple is a winner for me.

NO! you can't possibly be getting more mpg, you must be mistaken, your tachometer must be faulty, it's all the same stuff! Tesco, BP, Weconu, all the same!
The only problem is the cut price fuel users will never get to see the mpg or performance improvements because they refuse to pay the few pence extra.
