Sorted out all the 'off bike' bits & pieces ready to go with the bike probably on Tuesday, tank bag, panniers, spare's etc.
Sorry to see it go, but its just not getting used.:(:(

    Sad day H.O.
You have obviously made the decision not to use it, bet your new decorations and house furnishings don't replace the thrill of the open road.
Not too late to reverse the decision!

Figwold and I took the Tigers over this morning to the Beds Bike Safety Day at Pure Triumph Woburn (in Bucks). Met up there with a group ride out from Oakley MC, then the official club thirty bike ride out turned up, so must have been forty of us OMC there, plus OMC members and family who run the PitStop snack bar :)

Chatted to some nice bike rozzers who run the local BikeSmart (gonna sign up), and to the bloke who has the only skid-bike in Europe (he reckons) based at RideSmart at Alconbury airfield (gonna sign up). Watched a safety video to get a free cuppa and bacon butty (and we'd already paid for one lot before we discovered the route to the freebee).

Waived goodbye to figgie outside Bromham so he could go watch the Hatters. Then went solo hooligan on some nice little country lane twisty bits before home for the rugger. The more I ride the Tiger 800 the more impressed I am with it, especially on the tight narrow bits.

Saw this parked up at Woburn, then two more turned up, one the same colour with a short roundish middle-aged lady on it. I know from a nurse I see at the hospital who rides one that there is quite a following in Milton Keynes. One thing in their favour they aren't H-D. I can understand the attraction in the US for the Americana lifestyle, but I'd be embarrassed to be seen on one over here (no offence intended to any Indian riders, but they do look ridiculous). Mind you, I hope these guys turn up to help make a success of the OMC American theme night.

Gave the street twin a run up to the Ponderosa. Not many about as the weather was not brilliant.

Out with Northants IAM this morning for my first assessed ride, over to The Gate Hangs High at Hook Norton. Beautiful countryside en-route, and even some sunshine too, but Jeez it was blowing a hoolie at times.

Back safely after 120 miles. Tiger now approaching the 500 mile mark.

After getting my new front tyre, I checked the torque settings on the brake calipers and pinch bolts, then I regreased the side stand, and reset the clutch adjuster down to the clutch case.
