So close mate and you have done an amazing job - its looking so clean. Hard to believe its the same bike and cant wait to see the finished project.

For obvious reasons my build has hit a bit of a stall but hoping to get a few hours this weekend to keep it ticking over.

How long till you get the bodywork back??

Hi Thanks for the info, yes have the rubber swing arm guard fitted, which external feed pipe is it the solid stainless item with banjo fittings on. If this is blanked off surely there must be some other internal mods to ensure oil feed.

Yes one on left side of engine. it gets plenty of splash fed oil just blank off the casting with a bolt and copper washer or get a later cover. The blank for the banjo bolt behind the block is available from triumph or there is a chap called Stuart Crump who makes stainless ones.

Hi done a bit of work on bike this weekend, one mod i have done is drill the rear sub frame and feed the rear brake switch wiring within the sub frame so it exits near the slave cylinder, think it makes for much neater final appearance no cables trailing down to the rear brake :)

Sounds like a good plan - send a pic if you can.

I managed to get an hour or so this weekend and still fighting with the rear seat pan fitting. It seems like the pan itself is catching on the sides of the cross member and i really have to apply some force to get it to fit??

Hi, I've been following your progress, well done !!!!!! I am also doing a Crk triumph project and am just about to take delivery of the kit. I have done a fair bit already, new powder coated daytona wheels, new bearings, tyres, powder coated swingarm and bearings, refurbed brakes, new braided hoses, clip ons installed, all wiring loom done and ready for final fit.
Earlier in the tgread you said you had fitted LED indicators, and was struggling with the relay, did you resolve this ??

Beware, those Ramair foam filters catch fire. Happened to an XJR13 I used to own, nearly burned the whole bike & my mate's knackers. Fitted the more expensive K&N & had no more issues.

Hi There bit of update, got a call off the body shop to come and check was happy with the design they had masked up, looked great have to say can't wait to get it back, looked brilliant even with white base coat !!.

Just about finished now running much better and fitted set of progressive springs. i am taking the bike up to a local guy who has rolling road and has been recommended as done as much tweaking in garage as i can now will pass to experts to sort it outwith regards jetting etc and final set up.

Cant wait now as its all ready to have the body work bolted back on have to sort out insurance, would like to get an agreed value if possible any advise welcome ?
