ok I have two Triumph jackets the Mugello BLJ and the Assen Textile ( again in black )
A wee appraisal of the Mugello jacket seeing as I've had that the longest.
In two words Love it. Great BLJ more spring , summer and autumn orientated. It's not really a winter jacket. It can be worn in winter but you need more layers underneath and a waterproof jacket over that and only then will it keep you nice and warm. I have worn it that way myself and was lovely and toasty.
One of the things I like most about is that it doesn't fee heavy or stiff to wear from the start.
So a good one but expensive at £310.

Ok Assen textile jacket first impressions as I've only just bought this. Seems to be fully waterproof from when it did bucket it down today in middle England ( absolutely chucking it down at Lancaster so I stop at the services till it quietened down a bit).
So the Assen caught it there no leaks , no feeling of being excessively cold due to the rain.
So seems to have coped well. Was only wearing a tea shirt under the jacket and was warm enough.
The layers orientated part of me did think you should be wearing more layers.
No w the price of this jacket was an absolute steal down from £270 to £65 off Bevans Motorbikes on eBay. Get one if you can :(

Rest of the journey was fine.

Both of these jackets fit me fine. Very comfortable, both come with CE Knox body armour fitted as standard.

I've got the Mugello, bought it last year from Youles Triumph in Manchester. It was reduced to two hundred and something on the website. Tried on my normal XL size but found it too tight so had to get the XXL. When I took it to the till it came up at the full price so I told them it should be reduced. They checked their website and let me have it at the reduced price. I can't remember exactly how much it was now but it was a substantial reduction. Anyway I reckon it's been a good buy. Keeps me warm and is very comfortable to wear. Feels quality.

Like you I feel the jackets are good quality. Better be at the prices they charge. When I bought the Mugello I did get 10% off as I had just bought a bike off Bill Smiths.
Got a pair of summer gloves free. Again branded as Triumph.
On the gloves I actually find them ok even in winter , but then I have heated grips as well on the bike.
