Thanks for letting me join the group. I just purchased my first Triumph over the weekend and I really like it. I’ve always rode a Harley in the past but I got out of bikes 11-12 years ago when the grandchildren started coming on the scene. I’m 65 now and don’t feel as safe on an 800# bike plus expensive maintenance every 2500 miles. I found me a 2011 Speedmaster with 8000 original miles that looks like new. Let me tell I enjoyed my ride home after 12 years of being on a bike. 130 miles my first ride was painful but I feel it’ll get better. I love the quality, the look and pretty much everything about it. The only oddity I see with it is that a 2011 is supposed to have a single disc brake on front. Mine has a double disc. Original owner said it came that way. Has anyone hear had the same occurrence?

This set came as an additional seat for my Speedmaster. It has the Triumph logo printed on the pan. My question is why would they much such an ugly colored set and think that people would want that on their bike. I’ll never use it but I had to bring the ugly thing home with the bike as part of the package deal. IMG_2253.jpeg

Welcome, @streetglide08. Congratulations on a beautiful new bike! Saying hi from Athens, GA. Where are you in N GA? Your new bike should love those mountain roads. You may already be familiar with Two Wheels at Suches and if not then check it out for a great bike lodge and community. My handsome husband is your age and still riding his HD for the time being but he anticipates making a change at some point for the same reason, I think. The Triumphs are such fun, lively bikes; I hope you enjoy yours.
