Hey everyone! My name is Zeb and I just received a 2006 Triumph America from my girlfriend’s dad. It’s my 4th bike but the only one besides my 1st that will need much work. It is currently not running great after being brought from the beach in Jersey to our house in the Rocky Mountains at around 8500’, hopefully I’ll have it running soon and have lots more to share with you all.
    Thanks!!

Welcome and congratulations on the new project! I can't say that I envy your work on a carburetor motor in dealing with the altitude. My Sprint GT never hesitated when I moved it from NJ (don't be mean, now) to Rocky Mountain National Park (photo). I am thankful for fuel injection!

This summer, my Trophy gets the same treatment (second photo)! Best of luck!

That’s a nice ride! Aesthetically sport touring bikes are not my favorite but a couple of my dad’s buddies let me ride their Hondas and the performance in the twisties with the better range has always been tempting ever since.

My bikes remain outliers in Triumph's current selection of models. Those classic, ADV and sport bikes seems to take up the bulk of their current models. As such, your America is still very popular! Once you get the carb sorted, you will have get a lot of flattering attention on that beautiful bike! And Colordo is a great place to ride, with the scenery in the mountains (once the snow melts)! Enjoy!
